Cold nights, warm hearts. Celebrating JJ travelling around the sun once more.
A rainy night in June, we ventured into Adelaide to celebrate the birthday of our dear friend JJ.
I hd recently purchased an old Nikon film camera (AF3) from Facebook market place and was keen to try it out. It had not been tested, by the previous owner, any while appearing to function, I was nervous there was going to be an issue with the shutter or light leaks, leaving my roll of film useless.
Thankfully that wasn't the case, and we were blessed with these photos.
With some apprehension as to whether JJ had managed to book inside or outside [see rainy photos later], we were treated to a cosy and vibrant table in the main room by the resturaunt.
A surprise treat for JJ - sparkler included.
Despite the merry making, eventually we had to depart. But the night was full of terrors (rain) which we had to fight (avoid) while awaiting our chariot (Didi).
[Side note - shout out to our Didi driver on the way in, who turned around so we could collect JJ's forgotten bday present. What a guy.]
